Electrochemotherapy in horses: A new therapy offered at EVMC

Dr. Jessica Johnson graduated with a MVB in Veterinary Medicine from University College Dublin (UCD) in 2011 and she followed this with three equine internships: in Dubai Equine Hospital, Troytown Equine Hospital, and in UCD. After working in equine practice, Dr. Jessica returned to UCD in 2014 where she completed a 3-year residency to become a European Specialist in Large Animal Surgery and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medical Specialization. In addition to small intestinal anastomosis and ultrasound-guided injection techniques in horses, her other special area of research includes laminitis. Dr. Jessica joined the Equine Veterinary Medical Centre in Doha, in March, 2018, as a surgery clinician, and was also appointed Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hamad Bin Khalifa University.
